Includes:

Your package will include the replacement carbon fiber center console for your BMW SUV.
Equipment needed for this installation:
Soft pry tool
Microfiber towel
Masking tape
To ensure a smooth and damage-free process, please follow these steps carefully.

Recommended Preparation (Optional):

• Tape around the console to prevent scratching the leather.
• Apply masking tape to the center aluminum trim.
• Lift the armrest to create more workspace.

Removing the Factory Console:

1. Your original center console is secured by four clips. Starting near the cupholders, gently pull the console upwards to release the two front tabs.
2. Gradually work your way around the entire console, using the pry tool to release the remaining mounting points.
3. Before lifting the console completely, disconnect the blue wire harness located underneath on the left side.
4. Disconnect the small blue wire connected to the iDrive system. If you encounter difficulty, consider removing the three screws.

Installing Your New Console:

1. Connect the wire harnesses to the new console by plugging them into the corresponding ports.
2. Before completing the installation, test the electronic components in your new center console to ensure they function correctly.
3. Align the new center console and begin clipping it back into place, securing the front part last.

For the Shifter:

1. Use a soft trim tool to remove the factory shift cover.
2. Remove the single screw to release the cover.
3. Install your new shifter.
