Prepreg carbon fiber is a type of composite material where the carbon fiber fabric is pre-impregnated with a resin matrix. When used to manufacture automotive or other parts, it achieves the desired shape without requiring reinforcement materials like ABS plastic (used in wet carbon).

This results in excellent strength-to-weight ratios, improved and more precise fitment, and an exceptional finish without distortion of the carbon fiber weave.
